Lunch is provided (attendees from both sessions are invited 12.30pm to 1.00pm).


“A household is in fuel poverty if, in order to maintain a satisfactory heating regime, it would be required to spend more than 10% of its income on all household fuel use.

Extreme fuel poverty indicates that a household would have to spend more than 20% of its income to maintain a satisfactory heating regime.”

Home Energy Scotland is coming along to inform people about who they are and how they can work in partnership with individuals, groups and organisations across Renfrewshire to tackle fuel poverty.


The workshop will cover:-

·        An overview of their services

·        Overview of fuel poverty

·        The link between cold, damp houses and worry about bills

·        Signs of fuel poverty working together to tackle fuel poverty


A buffet lunch is provided. To book one of the limited spaces on this free workshop please contact, stating either morning or afternoon, your name, organisation and any dietary requirements.

Engage Hub

Our office in Paisley is a hub for local and national organisations including Shelter Scotland, West College Scotland, Prince's Trust, Renfrewshire Access Panel and the Scottish Football Association.

A fully equipped meeting room is available for hire with discounted rates given to members.
