“A household is in fuel poverty if, in order to maintain a satisfactory heating regime, it would be required to spend more than 10% of its income on all household fuel use.
Extreme fuel poverty indicates that a household would have to spend more than 20% of its income to maintain a satisfactory heating regime.”

Home Energy Scotland is coming along to inform people about who they are and how they can work in partnership with individuals, groups and organisations across Renfrewshire to tackle fuel poverty.
The workshop will cover:-
· An overview of their services
· Overview of fuel poverty
· The link between cold, damp houses and worry about bills
· Signs of fuel poverty working together to tackle fuel poverty
